ENHYPEN Make History With First-Ever Billboard 200 No. 1 — Is This Their Biggest Era Yet?

ENHYPEN have officially reached a major career milestone, earning their first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their latest mini album, THE SIN: BLISS.

THE SIN: BLISS

Billboard confirmed that THE SIN: BLISS, ENHYPEN's eighth EP, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album earned approximately 98,000 equivalent album units in the US, including around 92,000 traditional album sales and 6,000 streaming equivalent album units.

Since their debut in 2020, ENHYPEN have steadily built an increasingly international fanbase, with the group becoming particularly successful in the US and other overseas markets.

Their previous releases had repeatedly reached the upper end of the chart, with THE SIN : VANISH and ROMANCE : UNTOLD both previously reaching No. 2. Now, the group have finally achieved No. 1 on the Billboard, reaching the final step in the Billboard journey!

An Interesting Year for ENHYPEN

This year did not prove to be the easiest for ENHYPEN and their fans. On March 10th, member Heeseung announced he would be leaving the group, citing differences in musical direction as the main reason.

The departure shocked fans, as they received no warning or signs this would be happening. Just days before, Heeseung was present in group activities, even taking part in a fan signing. It's unclear how the members have felt about Heeseung's departure, and whether things ended on good terms or not.

However, any worries the members would have had about their future without Heeseung will have disappeared after this news. It appears the group are doing better than ever in terms of sales and popularity.

ENHYPEN are now part of a select group of K-pop boy groups that have reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The achievement places them alongside some of the biggest names in K-pop, including BTS, Stray Kids, SuperM, TXT and ATEEZ.

For a group that debuted just six years ago, reaching this point represents a remarkable acceleration of their global career.
