New K-Drama Alert: Boyfriend on Demand

Written by Maddie F. (Mar 8th, 2026)

Jisoo is back for a new K-Drama in 2026, and this time, she's looking for love!

Jisoo – Boyfriend on Demand

Boyfriend on Demand (or Monthly Boyfriend) tells the story of Seo Mi-Rae (Jisoo), a webtoon producer who seeks an escape from reality through an app which allows her to meet virtual partners that should be her ideal match. However, as she goes more and more into the simulation, the lines between the app and her real life become blurred.

Interested yet? Well if you're not, the cast might grab your attention. Seo In-guk plays the male lead, but we also will have appearances from Seo Kang-joon, Lee Hyun-wook, Lee Jae-wook and Ong Seong-wu to name a few (and Jay Park if anyone saw the trailer).

We don't know too much about the story yet, as it is not based on a webtoon, but from the fun trailer and amazing cast, we have a lot to look forward to!

The drama releases on Netflix on the 6th of March, with a total of 10 episodes. Will you be watching to see how Seo Mi-Rae's love life unfolds?
